In the villa with a basement along the Amstel River, a unique home theater home cinema has been created that reveals itself step by step. From the basement entrance, you walk through the hallway toward the home theater, where the space gradually opens up and more and more of the impressive interior becomes visible. The right side blends seamlessly with the hallway in terms of color scheme, while the home theater takes on a character all its own. A rich combination of gold, yellow, and purple tones creates a warm, exclusive atmosphere and gives the space a unique, distinctive theme.

For this home cinema,” a high-end Dolby Atmos setup was chosen, featuring Bowers & Wilkins CWM7.3 S2 front speakers, CWM7.4 S2 surround speakers, Bowers & Wilkins M1 rear surround speakers, and shallow DALI K-60 LP Atmos speakers. Two JL Audio E110 subwoofers deliver powerful, tight, and controlled bass. The Marantz CINEMA 40 delivers refined signal processing and powerful performance, while the Sony VPL-XW5000ES 4K projector ensures razor-sharp images, deep contrast, and an immersive cinematic experience.
The interior exudes luxury and sophistication thanks to a carefully selected two-tone color palette. The exclusive wallpaper with gold accents complements the carpet and the upholstered panels surrounding the screen wall perfectly. The subtly purple-tinted stretch ceiling blends harmoniously with the spacious sofas and matching cushions, creating a warm and exclusive atmosphere. Even the side tables are perfectly coordinated with the chosen color scheme, ensuring that every detail contributes to a perfectly balanced and stylish movie-watching experience.
The controls for the home cinema have been deliberately kept simple and intuitive. The entire system is easy to operate using the included remote controls for the amplifier and projector. An NVIDIA Shield was chosen for all media, which perfectly meets the client’s needs. This allows for quick and intuitive access to streaming services, movies, and other content, ensuring an optimal cinema experience.
