About this project

For this city villa in the heart of a bustling city in Gelderland, the basement was specially excavated to create a full-fledged home cinema with generous ceiling height. This provided plenty of space for a comfortable and impressive home theater setup. Moovia’s luxury home theater seats accommodate the whole family, making this space the perfect place to enjoy movies, TV shows, and special movie nights together.

For this exclusive home cinema, an uncompromising reference setup was chosen. The Bowers & Wilkins CWM8.3 S2 Diamond front speakers with diamond tweeters form the absolute heart of the system, complemented by CWM7.4 S2 surround speakers and CCM7.5 S2 Atmos speakers deliver an impressive 3D sound experience. Four JL Audio E110 subwoofers provide exceptionally powerful and perfectly distributed bass. The Trinnov Altitude16 processor and Trinnov Amplitude16 power amplifier elevate audio performance to the highest level, while the JVC NZ500 4K projector guarantees a razor-sharp and immersive cinematic image.

While we normally recommend using dark tones for an home cinema,” this project called for a light and warm look. With green furniture, finished with exclusive 22-karat gold-leaf cup holders, a unique and luxurious atmosphere has been created. Behind the high-quality finish lies a fully acoustically treated room, in which the six surround and rear surround speakers are seamlessly integrated. The walls combine leather acoustic panels from Alphenberg with upholstered panels, while the light-colored, deep-pile carpet adds warmth. The black, acoustically treated screen wall and ceiling ensure optimal image contrast and excellent acoustic performance.

The entire home theater is controlled by MoreSenz’s high-end media control system. Using an iPad, the user can effortlessly control the entire space, from lighting and equipment to streaming services like Netflix. Thanks to smart automation, the system seamlessly switches between sources such as game consoles, a Blu-ray player, a NAS, and a PC. With the push of a button, everything is instantly ready for the ultimate viewing experience.

“This project is without a doubt one of the absolute highlights of our portfolio. The combination of one of the most extensive audio setups we’ve ever created, high-quality craftsmanship, and a perfectly balanced design makes this home cinema truly special. It’s precisely because we opted for light tones that this space stands out from a traditional movie theater. The end result is exclusive, stylish, and technically top-notch — a project of which we at MoreSenz are immensely proud.”
