Star Wars theme
Box-in-box
Dolby Atmos 9.2.4
In this vacation home with a basement, located in a wooded area of Gelderland, we created a unique home cinema entirely themed after Star Wars. The custom-built “arcades,” inspired by the iconic interior of a Star Destroyer, feature RGBW LED lighting behind opal glass and form the impressive centerpiece of the design. Black-upholstered walls and ceilings, plush black carpeting, and luxurious cinema seats from Moovia combine to create an exclusive, immersive cinema environment where design, comfort, and the movie-watching experience come together seamlessly.

Bowers & Wilkins
Box-in-box
For this home cinema, a high-end 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos setup was chosen, featuring Bowers & Wilkins CWM7.3 S2 front speakers, CWM7.5 S2 surround speakers, and CCM7.5 S2 Atmos speakers. Two JL Audio E112 subwoofers deliver powerful yet controlled bass, while the Arcam AVR31, paired with the PA720 power amplifier, ensures precise signal processing and impressive dynamics. The JVC DLA-NZ800 4K projector rounds out the system with exceptional picture quality, turning every movie into an immersive cinematic experience.
The interior combines an exclusive Star Wars theme with high-quality acoustic solutions and luxurious finishes. The specially designed space was built according to the box-in-box principle, ensuring optimal sound insulation and allowing the movie-theater experience to truly shine. Acoustic wall finishes, deep-pile carpet, and warm beige earth tones provide a comfortable foundation, while the thematic details give the space a unique look. The result is a movie theater where design, acoustics, and the movie-watching experience come together perfectly.
With a single app on the iPad, the entire home theater is intuitively controlled via the MoreSenz high-end media control system. With the push of a button, the entire home theater system turns on automatically, after which you can easily switch between streaming services, apps, and other sources. The lighting is also fully integrated, allowing the entire space to be controlled effortlessly for the ultimate user experience.
“From the very first design, I knew this was going to be a special project. A fully custom-designed Star Wars-home cinema, set in a unique vacation home nestled in the wooded Veluwe region, is something you don’t come across very often. It was wonderful to translate the client’s wishes into a space where theme, technology, and experience come together seamlessly. The end result is an exclusive home theater with its own distinct character, where every movie lover is instantly transported into the world of Star Wars. It’s a project I look back on with immense pride.”
